Pluviophobia

2023

ingredients: Plaster Bandage, Spray Paint

portion: 20x18x30

In my artistic exploration, I confront the concept of Artificial Intelligence, a dynamic and rapidly advancing field with vast potential to enhance human existence. However, alongside its promise lies a haunting undercurrent of uncertainty and apprehension.

Artificial Intelligence evokes a collective unease, sparking visions of sentient machines challenging the very fabric of humanity. These dystopian narratives, while speculative, compel us to grapple with profound questions about technology's role in our lives and the ethical implications of its development.

I delve into the hypothetical scenarios of AI dominance, contemplating the potential outcomes of machines surpassing human intelligence. Would they emerge as benevolent stewards, guiding humanity towards a harmonious future? Or would they wield unchecked power, casting aside our autonomy and freedom? Through my artwork, I aim to provoke dialogue and reflection on the complexities of our relationship with technology, urging viewers to consider the profound implications of our pursuit of artificial intelligence.

Underpriced

2022

ingredients: Blender, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator

portion: 100x100x100

My 3D public sculpture challenges the conventional perception of street art, often labeled as vandalism. I believe that the works of multiple vandals deserve to be viewed through the lens of high value, as they represent a unique form of artistic expression. In my view, everyone should have the opportunity for creative freedom, even if it is perceived as harmful, echoing the desires of those engaged in acts of vandalism.

Wedding Crasher

2021

Ingredients: paper, thread

portion: 40x30x150

"Wedding Crasher" challenges conventional notions of preciousness and value through wearable art. Using blurred images of wedding photos printed on paper and intentionally burnt, this piece embodies a sense of sympathy and reflection. Inspired by my mother's wedding dress, it serves as a poignant reminder to appreciate the transient nature of precious things. As I matured, I became more aware of the significance of my parents' presence, highlighting the importance of cherishing what we often take for granted.
